Mtume wa Allaah ﷺ amesema: “Imekuja kwenu Ramadan,mwezi ulio na heri na Allaah ameamrisha kufunga,maana kipindi hiki milango ya peponi huwa inafunguliwa na mlango ya motoni inakuwa imefungwa na mashetani yanakuwa yamefungwa.Na ndani yake kuna usiku ulio bora kuliko miezi elfu moja, na ambaye atajinyima kwa uzuri wake ni hakika kajinyima” [Ahmad]
The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said: “There has come to you Ramadan, a blessed month which Allaah has enjoined you to fast, during which the gates of heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and the rebellious devils are chained up. In it there is a night which is better than a thousand months, and whoever is deprived of its goodness is indeed deprived.” [Ahmad]
